well im in the medical field and blood is nothing to me. its really understandable if some people cant stand the sight of blood but if your in the medical field this is one indication that youll have a hard time here. i just hope you can handle it in the near future.

You're not alone there. I worked some years as a nurse and many, many people have a deep fear of blood, sometimes that fear being a bigger care issue than the injury which produced the blood in the first place. There are treaments; hypnosis, therapy etc and if your hemophobia concerns you daily then I would certainly recommend looking into one of them for your peace of mind. On a side note, you are not very likely to see blood day to day unless you have a job in a hospital or butchers shop, so at least there is that knowledge to comfort you :)

I remember being in high school and once we started talking about all the body systems, especially anything having to do with blood, I couldn't stay still. I felt like I just needed to walk around and get my legs moving. I don't mind the sight of my own blood, and a little at that. For some reason seeing someone else's blood kind of freaks me out as well. However, I wouldn't stand seeing huge amounts of it. I just can't stand still once we talk about blood moving and flowing. It doesn't make me want to run away, but not everyone can keep calm at the sight of blood.
