Well since I grew up listening to his music, the content and the lyrics, I definitely agree that he is a legend. He was a prolific song writer, he dealt with social issues such as poverty and oppression, singing along with him made life endurable. I certainly missed him when he wasn't around to write a song when Mandela was released from prison. His anthem was One Love.

Eh i personally think hes a legend to me but i think a lot of it is just the hype of what some people think he represents that gives him a lot of attention A lot of people i know dont really give him the rep he deserves. They just know he smokes and plays good music. I grew up with my family playing him and read a lot about him and saw him as a huge inspiration to the music i play now which is nothing like his. But I think a lot of people dont really respect the man he was just the man they saw if that makes sense.
