I am nonvegetarian. and i want to change because a few days before i was feeling guilty of being a nonveg and realised that somehow i am commiting a sin. Emotions is somethinh which plays huge role in human decision. personally i love animals alot. I have great affection for them and whenever I see atrocities on any animals, I feel very bad and guilty. Sometimes i also cry and feel great hatred for these people who dominate animals to satisfy human. why we have to be so cruelty on animal? Is it just because they cant talk that they dont get pain? And dont you fear God for these cruelties on innocent animals? Recently I realised that when I cannot tolerate these atrocities then why I eat nonveg. They are being killed to feed us we nonveg people, am equally a criminal. So I finally decided I will sacrifice eating nonveg food and become a veg.

Well, I am am omnivore, and I have no intentions on changing that at all. No offense to vegetarians and/ or vegans, but most of those people act in such an hypocrite way that I don't feel it as something loable. How can anyone be against cruelty to animals and then wear shoes and/or bags made of animal skin? I have seen too many cases of this. Of course, I know that not all act like that and are true to their beliefs. I am true to my beliefs too, so that's why I'm not an omnivore

I used to be a vegetarian when i was a teenager. But I stopped that habbit, since there are no vegetarian around me accept me. So I got to see them eating hamburger, steak, fried chicken, and other delicious stuff. I guess my power is not that high, so I quitted after 2 years being vegetarian.

One of the best things us human being have is that we are able to decide what we want to do. You are making a decision according to your beliefs and that is very good. I do hope though that you don´t hold a grudge against people who eat meat. Just because you have reached that conclusion it does not mean that that is everyone´s truth. I know that our DNA needs some aminoacid that are easily taken from meat. Vegetarians have a more difficult time to get them and they can only do it properly with legumes and legumes products.

Sometimes I feel like I want to be a vegetarian for the reason that I wanted to live a healthy lifestyle and just get rid of the excess fats in my body. Anyway, i think being a vegetarian is also a good thing. Take for example my grandpa, he is already 86 years old and he still very strong. He said that the secret to his health is the vegetables that he eats.

I'm vegan, and prior to that I was a vegetarian, for a total of over 10 years. The switch to vegetarianism is easy these days - there are so many substitutes out there that you will hardly miss any of your favorite foods. Going vegan is much more difficult, but also has a greater impact. Animals are still treated extremely inhumanely in order to obtain milk and eggs, and vegetarians accept this. Also, animals do in fact feel pain. In any case, cutting meat out of your diet will have great benefits for you, and the environment. Feel free to message me if you are in need of some good recipes or recipe sites.

A few years ago, I try to become a vagetarian become of the same feelings with you, feel guilt when I saw the process of the killing before cooking. And I had persisted for about 1 year, finally, I was failed. During that year, I was alone, this made me tough, worse thing is my health becomming a little bad, and feel weak often. Under the doctor's advice, I turned to be a nonvegetarian. Maybe I am in a wrong way to keep my health when I was a vegetarian. To be a real vegetarian, more faith and more unremitting will be need...

It is absolutely your choice to be veg. I love animals. But I don't stop to be non veg. Why? because there is no connection to that. For me, as long as I don't kill, it is okay for me to eat meat. While I don't kill them, don't hear the animals cry for help while it is killed, I don't choose alive animal to be killed because I want to eat them. As long as I don't involve in killing them, it is okay for me. ^^

I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian. I only eat vegetables, and no meat, but I eat eggs and I also drink milk, thereby enjoying the benefits and advantages of being a vegetarian and at the same time not missing the nutrients that are available in eggs and milk. That's lacto-ovo vegetarian. Most Seventh-Day Adventists are lacto-ovo vegetarians. I am a member of the SDA Church.

could be nice eating vegetables BUT we still NEED a protein to our body. YES, assuming you love animals BUT then NO one could ever be said that's the curl thing to kill other animals that is intended to be eaten by people. Everybody has it own purpose in life.. both living ang non-living things... remember, NO one is an island. everyone has it own participation on this world.. to go on !!!

Hi monalily, I am a vegetarian but it's not because I feel guilty to eat animals, it's more out of compassion for them as they have a life too. I think guilt should not be the motivation for you to become a vegetarian because it is the wrong emotion to feel when making a decision. Rather, concentrate on what a good thing you are going to do by becoming a vegetarian. You are saving the life of those animals who may become the next dish on your table. Also you can look at it from the health perspective. When animals are going to be killed, they can actually sense it and will become very scared. That will cause them to release a lot of toxins into their blood which will be transferred to our body if we consumed the meat. So, by turning vegetarian, you are also helping yourself to become healthier. I advise you to read up more on vegetarianism before making your choice. When you understand the issue well, you are able to make a good decision and how you will be able to sustain it.
