Did You ever Thought That Cartoons Are For Real?

In My childhood I always thought cartoons are for real. Did you ever thought so?
I always had a belief that cartoons do exist in real. Adding to my this belief news channels also said that Disney cartoons(Mickey mouse, Donald duck e.t.c) are coming to my country. As i grew older my belief turned into expectation.
Did you ever expect that "cartoons do exist" for sure in your childhood?

Yes I did. When I was kid, I imagine if superman is real. Now, I have four years old son who idolized Batman and Spiderman. He always act as Batman and Spiderman. I bought him Batman and Spiderman costume. After he wear the batman costume, he asked me: "Papa, Why can't I fly even though use Batman costume? I have wing now". I did really couldn't answer his question. In his mind he thought Batman or Spiderman is real heroes. When he wear Spiderman costume, he always act as if he have a web to beat the bad guy. Well, I think I was like him when I was a kid

When I was kid I never thought cartoons were real except Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and other Disney characters cause I went to Disney World as a kid and saw & hugged Mickey. But it didn't stick to me that long and never thought them as real when I got older.

I never thought they were for real.But i loved those characters whether it be Tom And Jerry,Pop Eye.....They make us feel very happy and relieved for the moment.As a small d i was in doubt about TIN Tin but as i grew older they didn't seem real.In childhood i definitely held the belief that some were real.
