Suite 101 and IB

HI,
I just heard about suite101 and Info Barrel and really felt like giving it a try. But my primary quetion is
do these sites pay the Indian writers. I had heard that there are some sites around which have excluded India. How about Indian members on these sites? I am from India and that is why I am asking this. Please let me know from your knowledge. Thanx.

I don't know anything about Info Barrel, but I do know a fair amount about Suite101. Except for whether they pay writers from India (or any country besided the US). That's something you could find out by reading the information they offer on the site. I don't see that printing their copyright info here is relevant to what you're asking. Suite101 isn't a site you just "try out." You have to fill out an application and submit a sample of your writing. In other words, they decide whether they want you to write for them. And no, you can't publish anything that you've already posted somewhere else. They want original work, and they also have strict limitations on when and how you can repost your Suite101 articles.
