Which Zoo?

I have visited a lot of zoo's, all in the US. Of those that I have visited, I think San Diego is the best. I liked that they had a train for transportation, and the display of the animals. Their habitats were very natural. Many zoos do not have alternate transportation for handicapped people. Which zoos have you visited and why did you like them?

I loved the San Diego zoo! I haven't been to many zoos, probably just three. But when I was ten my family and another family went on vacation to California. My family had lived there previously, but had never been to the San Diego zoo. We had such a good time.

I apologize for not responding in a timely manner. I didn't come to mylot for a few days as I was occupied with other programs. I appreciate your response regarding San Diego Zoo. My family and I had a fantastic time. I would go back to the Zee were we to be in San Diego again. Our Son is north of Norfolk now (in the USN), so at this point San Diego is not in our travel plans.

I haven't been to a lot of zoos, San Antonio, Houston, Oklahoma City
There used to be a wildlife park up around the DFW area, that was very much like natural habitats, and that was nice, to a point.
I want to SEE the animals, but not walking would also be nice...

I apologize for not responding in a timely manner. I didn't come to mylot for a few days as I was occupied with other programs. I live in San Antonio, however haven't been to the zoo in a few years. My mobility is limited. There is still a wildlife park near New Braunfels. It's habitat is very natural. We drove through it a few years back. Loved it.
Did you compare the three you have been to?
Which one would you go back to?

That place in New Braunfuls is still there? Wow, it mustta been 20 yrs ago that I went - I was pretty underwhelmed. There used to be one up around Arlington, but I think that one is long gone.
I've been to the San Antonio zoo the most, I like the rock bits of it, but I like that kind of stuff too. Love that sunken garden there too

i love singapore zoo its very big and quite natural have so many different kinds of animals om ll around the world ,have many animals shows also which are very intresting
have lots of transportation facilities

I apologize for not responding in a timely manner. I didn't come to mylot for a few days as I was occupied with other programs. Although I have traveled to two countries outside the US, Turkey and Japan, I have not been to Singapore. Sounds like I would love the zoo. If I can ever get there, I will be sure and visit the zoo. And you said Singapore night safari also??
