Life is not a sprint, its a long distance marathon.

If you move too fast in life, you're going to end up burning out rather quickly. You need to pace yourself. Things will happen when they happen. If you try and rush everything, then you'll end up struggling through everything in life. I see people who try and rush through everything without thinking. It just takes longer that way to get through everything in life. The lesson to be learned is you need to pace yourself if you want to survive life.

I agree with you. Life, even as unpredictable as it is, still needs planning and not just go fast with it. How well someone lives his life does not depend on how fast he reach his goals, but on how he savor each moment and extract the lessons that life has to offer in its journey.

Yes, its a journey with so many twists and turns. If we don't pace ourselves, we're going to end up hitting a wall on some of those turns. It is just the way life is in the end. We need to appreciate those moments in life, while we can. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

yes, you are correct. We must push ourselves to survive, in doing something, we should not just think about speeds in finishing, but also needs to consider the appropriate way, so that does not happen that are not desired.

I saw a film called 'The Backup Plan'. In it the lady is worried she won't have kids if she doesn't meet Mr Right. She goes to get pregnant by a donor in a clinic. Then she meets her true love. The lady rushed into having a baby and then met her man after she got pregnant. She didn't pace herself right. An example life: The lady goes to university from age 18 to 21 years old. Then from age 22 to 26 years old she works as a legal assistant. At age 27 years old she gets married. Then she has twin girls when she is 29 years old. That lady would have paced her life well.
