After I read through the Bible from start to finish for the first time,I remember how much I had a better overall perspective/understanding of the Bible. Many questions were answered. It took a year the first time I read it through. I have read it through about 20 times and still have much to learn! The Bible has become living water to me. The bread of life. My compass. The begining of a great relationship with God. The more I read the Bible the better I understand what God wants and thus the better my desisions are in everyday life! God is so good! How about you?

I've read the Bible once in my mother tongue and 2 in each language I study, I learned how to read and write English and German by reading the Bible, I know that it is not perfect, but I know that it is a gift that Our Lord gave me, and I still studding the it not just to improve my language skills, but to know what is Our Lords plan, it has helped me in many ways.

Hi, Wendy.. I cannot say 100% for sure. I think at least twice, but maybe more. I have often read some places in it lots of times, especially some key verses that show the future for the earth others that show what the Bible really teaches about certain things. There are several of us who decided to start reading the whole Bible until the end of December. Then we can start again in January Welcome to join us.. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2366681.aspx

I have read the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation just once. I finished it in 3 years because I only read one chapter in a day. I am reading the Bible again and I have finished 1/3 of it. I'll try my best to read the entire bible this year. This is the Word of God and I know I have much to learn from it. As 2 Timothy 3:16 states "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reprooving and setting things straight." I always find comfort reading it :D
