I had a friend of mined we both applied for the same position as a casino dealer. To tell frankly she was not as beautiful among the other applicant but she has brain, she passed all the exam, but the recruitment team accept a girls who i think is not deserving,Is it because they are more prettier than her?Do face value really matters even though you have gifted brains?

Beauty is, of course, playing an important role in an assessment. Many people judged by how they look. But any job requires different qualification. You don't care if someone is beautiful or not if you want to hire a scientist. All you need to care about is their GPA and how dedicated they are in the lab, for example. But you won't need a mathematician if you want to hire a model, of course. So for the modelling and fashion industry jobs, beauty does matter, doesn't it? For your case, and many other cases, where the job deals with meeting lots of people and requires less skill, beauty matters more than brain. In my opinion, it is hard to attract people if you're not that attractive. I think that's the reason why the HR officers chose the pretties.

your certainly right! beauty and brains has its own disposition in life...We cannot be as good as the supermodel if your not capable of having long legs and beautiful face,on the contrary we cannot be a scientist if we are just beauty decorators.
