One of my friends here at mylot....read one discussion started by me (which i had never started) ...and he gave me private message reading it that I have sympathy with you and it will be all over soon etc etc....he is my good friend and cannot lie....he told me that I had written in the discussion that I am fed up of my life, and that my family does not love me etc etc ...which is a big joke....now problem is ....what must be the reason...someone hacked my account???...and now when i try to find the discussion...its not seen in my account...and as much I know...there is no option to delete the discussion you have started...about my password....I once gave it to my online friend (I was not able to upload banners, so i told him to try)....who is no more in touch with me...should I change my password...?

I wonder who on earth started such a discussion? Are you sure there was one? If it’s gone admin must have become aware of the problem and deleted it. It’s hard to understand how someone could have hacked your account. It has happened to me though at Microworkers because I signed up on a dodgy site with the same password I used on Microworkers and so they hacked my account and used my money to buy jobs for themselves. Fortunately their admin became aware what happened and reinstated my account and my earnings so I was very lucky! I would definitely change all my passwords if I was you!

I got it ....all what had happened was just the mistake of my friend Paula....the friend who gave me PM....was just confused about the username.....he knew me from writing campus where I used uasername 'vaishali'....and there is some another 'vaishali' here at mylot....the discussion is still there...but written by someone else...not me.... I was thinking about my account being hacked ....just because i gave my password to one of my online friend once...to see if he can upload banners on my profile...which i am still not able to do from my computer, but i trusted him and so i gave him password...though i am not in touch with that online friend now...i think he was not that kind of guy....i am feeling sorry to suspect that friend but now everything is very clear to me...still i have changed the password for security ...thanks for being here

In fact there is a way to delete the discussion somebody started. You can use the ! to report it, and admins will delete it. As for the password issue, you definetly have to change it, before your funny friend do it.

I didn't even saw the discussion once..it came here when I was busy in a marriage in my family....and when the friend told me about that...it was gone....i think the admin may be knowing IP address or so...and they might have deleted it ....don't know what actually happened....

You can send a question to the admins. Maybe this way you can find out what happened when you weren't here. If your friend did that, it means he has a strange sense of humor.

Are you sure it was hacked by someone? Or, maybe the reason why your started discussion no longer exist is because it was deleted by the admin of MyLot because it is a violation of MyLot TOS. You may want to review our website policy once again and find out if there is a violation committed by your post.

Yea you should change it.. You have nothing to lose by changing your password right? It just ensures your accounts safety, that's all.
