Which is a better relation- Husband and Wife or Mother and Son?

I always feel the relation between mother and son is much more precious than husband and wife.This is because,when two people come closer they marry and become husband and wife.But the man would'nt have been there without his mother.So to my opinion this relation is far ahead of marriage.What do you people think?

Probably mother and son. I say this because your relationship with your parents is like nothing else. You've known them your whole life, they've been there for you your whole life. (in most cases) We can change partners, but we can never change our parents. That's why that relationship is so strong.
