LOL! Sorry, but this woman doesn't crave romance, and I've never even heard of Mills and Boon. Are they the writers? I've read maybe two romance novels in my entire life and couldn't see what was supposed to be so great about them. They obviously were written to a formula, and I was bored before I'd finished either one. But everyone has different tastes.

hi, mills and boon are the book publishing company and they have tons of romance writers just churning out books every month. they always write to a formula but how you get to the end is the fun bit. thanks for replying.

Hi Gnomeland, Back in my time (well, that was quite a long time from now), I used to read Mills and Boon, I love reading love stories and there were really good picks that I would read again if I have them now. I used to have a collection of them, I guess they're still in the old house where I grew up.

I would rather have my @rse wiped with a brick!! I read a few when I was on holiday and had run out of 'decent'books - what a load of garbage!! I could tell from the first page wat would happen - everyone of them is so much alike, absolute rubbish !!

Hi Gnomeland, I am a lover of mills and boon romance books and I am proud to say that it helped tremendously in harnessing my English proficiency skills. My English teacher back in high school highly recommended reading these easy to read books because the stories are light yet they are good sources for the enrichment of the vocabulary and I swear they are. Although there are so many authors carried by Mills and Boon I could say the classics written by Anne Mather are my best picks. She and Lilian Peake are my favorite authors. For us, where English is only the second official language used in the household, it is important to read books that will help enrich our stock knowledge of the English language and Mills and Boon Collections or Harlequin M&B as what they are called now and Silhouette Romances are good for starters. Until now I am reading them when I got only a few hours to read and finish a novel. :)
