I thought it would be horrible...but I'm addicted!

When I first saw that advertisements for Plants vs Zombies I thought it was going to be absolute sh*t. I was very very...I guess you could say 'touchy' about playing it, I didn't want to play a game that I would regret for the rest of my life when I could have been off playing something more fun or studying game guides out of boredom. I was sitting at my moms though, and out of the corner of my eye I saw my little brother jumping around and screaming, having a blast, he was playing some game and it was a lot of fun in his eyes, him being 10 years younger then me I didn't think much of it honestly. He got stuck on a level of it and started getting angry, he came over and asked me to help him, so I asked him what game it was and he said it was some zombie game, it was a lot of fun and that I would love it. I thought it'd be something like left for dead...I was SO wrong. He was playing Plants vs Zombies, I didn't want to help, but his bouncing made me want to and have to. I couldn't look away from the screen, I couldn't keep my hand off the touch pad. I swear I have never gotten hooked on a game so fast, EVER. I got to like 2-11 or something like that, and then...disaster...the trial ended...we couldn't play anymore, I hunted for about 3 hours for a full version online, didn't work, I found this demo online "web version" it was called. I played that straight through until it kicked me off, I beat the demo and trial 8 times that one night... I think I'm addicted...and as soon as I get home, I NEED to buy that...I'm going to go insane if I don't get to play it soon...I mean, c'mon, I only got to use 12 of the 49 plants and there's no way I can be settled with fighting off something like 6 different types of zombies when I know there's a lot more, and I just read that there's some "Zombie Creator" where you can make your own zombies... That is just...too...sweet. So I've gotta give PVZ my vote for top Tower Defense Game... Do you agree? I don't know what it is about that game that has me hooked so much, it's not that fast paced and it's definitely not that hard to play, but it's just fun, and it's not a complex fun either, it's simple, laid back, relaxing fun... Can't wait for it... Does anyone have ANY idea why it's so addicting?

It really seems to be one of the fastest growing games out there, it's just a lot of fun for all age ranges. It's the new style of family game! Haha!

Hi there Welcome to Mylot. I guess you are right, it is really addicting. I like playing it and have so far have finished Adventure thrice and all mini games, puzzles and survival (except the endless, of course). But I can control myself now What's funny is that my husband installed the game in my parent's office computer and in the computer in the living room. Now both mom and dad are addicted to the game. Really addicted. They take turns playing it and luckily, they do not fight on who's to go first. Have a nice day!

Haha, thanks for the welcoming. I love that they implemented the different game styles. I wanted to try endless but it isn't allowed in the demo. I tried survival, but I ran out of time on the demo so I only got like...3 minutes into it. I was amused by puzzle, it was interesting, added a whole new level to fast thinking about it. My little brother was upset because I kicked him off and wouldn't let him get back onto the game. I told him that the game was too good for him lmao, he didn't like me all that much because of that. I would love to see a group of people playing from an age range of 5-70+. My mom is turning 35 and even she had a lot of fun with that, my grandmother couldn't keep up with it because she's turning 56. She started screaming at the zombies, I really wanted to film it and put it up on youtube "The tales of the PVZ Grandmother!"

Maybe because it's your first time to see a tower defense game.

No actually, I'm a very big Tower Defense player. Tower defenses are my favorite game to play. They seem to take more planning then most other games. I'm a constant visitor to many different tower defense game websites.
