Have you ever lied to "help" your best friend ?

Sometimes, your best friend do something not good, and I lie to "protect" him from his parents punishment. Am I right when doing that?
If you were me, would you do that?

Yes.., I did that with my best friend too.., i lied to her parents just to protect her from being punished.. We were still teenagers back then and immature.., But I was not very guilty about it.., because we only lied about a small thing.., it's not really a major lie that I made..=)

Well, I didn't lie, I just didn't say anything.
I ended up making my friend tell his parents.
It made things a lot better.
So was you decision right? I don't know. I can't really answer that for you because I don't know what exactly you lied about.
