Guys, Looks like match fixing is still rampant if you go by the BBC World TV's report aired on 29.08.2010. Should we take these guys playing cricket seriously if what is said in the secret tape is true? Is it just cricket or other games too are as corrupt?

Well most of the series are match fixed and every team is getting involved in these dirty match fixing, if any team is strong then they should dominate that series on the other team but strangely one team plays superbly 2 matches and then suddenly loses the match to the same team badly. ICC has to step up and see that match fixing is not around in any series.

One of the worst things that have happened to sports over the last few decades is the allowance of betting on games to be legalised. This has made it worthwhile for players who may be desperate for cash to throw matches in order to earn big dollars from bookmakers who reap massive rewards if the team loses. It is very sad indeed. Sport should be just sport for the sake of sport. There is too much money involved in sport these days which has created a greed mentality.
