What to do.

I have working cleaning houses for about two weeks now. Before I started this job, I had been applying to a number of other jobs. One of the other jobs happened to be a Call center that I could work from home at. I thought it would be perfect because my oldest daughter is just starting school and after the initial training period, I would be able to drop her off and pick her up from school every day. Now a few days went by after applying for the job and nothing happened. I got offered the job that I am currently at, and started work the same day. Now 2 Fridays ago, I got a call from the call center. They wanted me to come in for an interview. Now I am pretty sure that the interview went very well, but the lady informed me that they wouldn't be able to tell me if I got the job until Monday (tomorrow). So I have been sitting here on pins and needles, waiting for the time that I find out. I am very excited and really hoping that I get this job. Besides the fact that I would be able to work from home, I am very happy because the pay is great, and it is full time. I know that there are a lot of sacrifices that me and the family will have to make, but in the long run I know that it will make things better for us all. I know that all the money from this job, will be going towards our credit card, and saving for a house and the kids. That means that in just 2 short years, my family will have a bigger house, no debt, and a lot of spare money to play with. Plus a job that I can really turn into a career while I work at my writing. I think that this is a very big chance, and my husband agrees. My family however might not be the same way. I am pretty sure that because it is something that I can do from home, they think I will fail or the job won't work out. I am hoping they are wrong. I really need this. What would you do?

...Hi there CRIVAS, Nobody knows whether or not anyone will succeed or fail they can only guess. Do not listen to people who are negative, if you do listen set aside what they say to you and concentrate on the positive side of things. I remember when I first got out of high school I was not in the city long enough to take tests for a government job which I wanted and so I worked in a factory as a power machine operator sewing. I brought in a girl who also wanted to work there. She tried out and the owner did not hire her, he said she would never be an operator based on his review of her work. Well the young lady went somewhere else was hired and became a great operator for the time she worked in the industry. So don't let anyone tell what you will or can or cannot do. If the call center tells you they want to give you the job, definitely accept it. I work from homek, it saves you car fare, gas money, traffic jams are avoided. Take the job and good luck to you. Take care.

...Hi CRIVAS, Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness. I appreciate what you did. I am very curious, did you get the job? What happened. If you did, I hope things are working out for you. If you didn't, other things will be there to take the place of what you did not receive. Take care of yourself. Happy New Year to you and your family.

Although your family is a bit skeptical for thinking you will not succeed it is not them you need to worry about as it is you would will be doing the work. It sounds like you are very confident and can get the job done. So I would suggest you take a breather and wait to see what happens. The clock will not move faster no matter how much we want it. But based on your discussion you really want and need this job. So if this does not come true for you than please do not give up as giving up will make you miserable and lose flavor for the other job. If this does not pan out keep searching and you just may surprise your self with the end results. I will keep my fingers crossed. Good luck!

Life can be quite risky but we will never learn if we don't take a chance. So just go ahead and give it a try. If you think something will come out of it then who knows if would really turn out well.
