I have recently started a tangible photo portfolio, and was wondering if anyone had advice about what to do, as well as what not to do. I would also like to know if anyone has a preference as far as portfolio books (for displaying my work)

I would suggest making the cover out of leather~or cloth, personally I would prefer leather. It has a nicer, more sophisticated look to it. There is an awesome website that you can check out that will help give you some ideas, its called, http://www.portfolios-and-art-cases.com. Remember that your portfolio is only as strong as your weakest photo!

Thanks Leslie, I had thought leather would be an excellent choice, but money is tight in my house, so I started with a plastic portfolio from Michaels. What did you think of my photo?

You must have a soft copy and hard copy meaning the print one and the one inside the cd so that they would see how does it look like when printed and on the monitor. As much as possible of course your works must be attracted or eye catchy to the people.
