Finding Relationships On Social Networking Sites

Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Friendster, Tagged and many more are just some of the various social networking sites on the net. what really taken my interests in starting a social networking site is the opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends from school. Still.. well i would say.. some are fortunate enough to be able to find relationships on those social networking sites. is it worrying to start a relationship with someone that the only connection we have is through that social network alone? for one thing people should consider is that not all the people in those sites are completely honest with their profiles which include their pictures, names, biodata and even their gender!! so i'm always keep asking myself this question to those who are able to start a relationship on those sites. how were you able to bridge that gap from total strangers to that we can be boyfriend and girlfriend??

IT IS TRUE. My partner so open stating married as a his status and yet he is so damn flirting with every unsuspecting , looking for fun woman. There are always pros and cons. Unfortunately, not everybody is responsible in enough by the way they are using theses sites. Many families and lives were ruined because of this. Do not trust anybody if you don't want to be a victim, either physically or emotionally. Better be responsible than getting hurt later....

i think most of people are expecting to have virtual love more than real love..,because those who dont have guts to face real world they are alaways happy in virtual real life where they enjoy all colors of relations..,like they fall in love they start dreaming n all..,even if you have good friends and yo are able to meet him in real even you ll try to meet him online...!! thats really sad one...!!

I do not go with that idea actually. I do not entertain or accept acquaintances on those social networking sites. My idea of having an account there is to catch up with my long lost friends and reunite with family and schoolmates who are out of the country. But, i do not consider finding love relationship through these sites. I still prefer personal acquaintances. As you have said, there are people who pretend to be someone else or keep their real identity. I am afraid I will be meeting someone who might put me into danger...Nowadays, everything is possible in the net. Scammers use these sites to deceive people, so thus with syndicates.

As of experience, I have tried meeting up and dating someone I know online. At first, I really apprehensive because who knows I might end up meeting a criminal or a faker. But I took my chances, though we never ended up dating romantically, we did became good friends. I think its just natural for us to worry about finding someone online because there's no assurance that that person is telling us the truth or not. If you'll meet with that online friend, I guess knowing them more is the best thing to do if you're willing or open to the possibility of dating him/her romantically. Just like a blind date, you see each other, you get to know each other more. Don't rush things. Just be friends and who knows , it might be the start of a new relationship for both of you. Best of luck

I can say it is just a one in a million chances of knowing or meeting someone who is serious or real in the true essence of finding love or relationship. Some were lucky to have met their partner and end up in marriage as well. Some were unfortunate and even end up with tragic story either (so scary) Being cautious is the best way when meeting or knowing someone online becoz we never knew who are they in real life and what are their intentions either.

Yeah, most of the them know each other from the internet and and doesn't know the real person in reality. In the internet, you can be just anybody from celebrity to some average Joe. Write all the good things and promote yourself. And nowadays even a picture can be deceiving. We can photoshopped the image and walla! A new supermodel is reborn and many guys/girls will msg you. What a crap!
