Backup of Mobile Phone Phone Book and Message

Dear All, now life is too busy and people mostly put their important numbers and messages, password and reminders in mobiles so mobile a small device but very much attached to our life now. Does any one of you take backup of your mobile once in a month or in 2 or in a year in case you lost your mobile,yet you ll never lose your important contact and messages and etc. if not then dont you think there should be this habit that we ll make backup of our mobile also? :)
