My daughter have a sore eyes just this day she got it from our neighbor who visited our house. I don't know what to do to cure it and make it disappear before I and the rest of the family will be infected. I don't want to go to work with sore eyes so please help.

I was like a freak the last time I had sore eyes. I isolated myself for I guess 4 to 5 days. I had someone bring me up my meals and my needs, put them outside my doorstep, and only opened my door to get them when the person already left. I didn't want to spread it to anyone so I had to sacrifice as well as other people had to sacrifice for their own sake too. I also didn't want my other eye to catch the infection so I covered my affected eye. I wasn't sure if I was doing that right, or was I covering the right eye but somehow it worked. There was this OTC drops that my grandparents told me to buy. Pi Yen Chin but I wouldn't recommend it to a kid that age. Just practice proper hand washing and try not to get yourself too close to her eyes. Don't use any articles you used to wipe her eyes in wiping your own face. In short, contact precautions.

This is a good idea, but since it's my baby who has the sore eyes so it is hard to isolate her cause she can't do stuff on her own. But the rest I think I can apply it to her.

This discussion is 4 months old, i am sure your daughter is okey..in case of eye infection one need to consult a eye specialist, we apply few drops of rose water for itchy eyes usually, it is harmless and safe too.. Thank you so much for sharing. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead. God bless you. Welcome always.

well.. if it is viral, then there is no cure for it. If it is bacterial conjunctivitis, you can always use maxitrol.
