Intelligent woman

Personally, I am of the belief that overall intelligence has nothing to do with gender. I do believe that one gender can be smarter in certain areas of life, but in general it's all about the individual.

I think we are equally as intelligent it just how we use it and what we use it for. Women for years put there intelligence on the back burner to be house wives and mothers and to take care of home while men got to showcase theirs thats why I believe that its percieved for men to be more intelligent.

Yes, women are just as intelligent as men, if not more so. Women can certainly multi-task better than men, and we can run a household. Also, there are many women scientists, mathematicians, athletes, writers, artists, musicians, linguists, and journalist out there. There are many women who can and are very productive, and they can run circles around men. Look at all of the women out there now who can do things that weren't even dreamed of many years ago.

I think both men and woman are capable of being intelligent. It does more depend on the person themselves. I have heard though that the thought process of men and woman are different and THAT is what helps or hurts ones chances as absorbing knowledge. I think history shows though, men are more prominent, but with the right resources woman can be just as powerful.

well it really depends on the person but i think men are really good when it comes to science and mathematics! hahaha! i usually asked my guy classmates when we had a homework way back in high school and they taught me excellently. but talking about creativity, design, fashion --- art, i believe women really excel in it!

It's a very sexist opinion... People will say "Look back through history! You'll never find any important inventions by women!" But also...look back through history to see how women were treated, they were house wives, never allowed to really go out and learn all that extra stuff needed. Window Wipers were invented by a Canadian Woman going grocery shopping. Are people saying that those are unimportant? Woman now-a-days are quickly catching up in the 'obvious' smarts of men, although there are many woman that are smarter then men, there are also many men that are smarter then woman, it's not a matter of gender. It's more-so a matter of dedication. In the past, men were smarter, simply because women weren't given the opportunity to go to a higher educational level. Now-a-days women are still fighting to be treated as equals in many different work places... But men have the drive "not to lose" which makes it so that when they start to lose they work harder but are prone to make more mistakes. Women have the drive to be right, which makes them more likely to take the time to get something right. In the end, women have the higher potential, but men hold them back.

that depends on the person, although, men are great thinkers... like inventors, scientist, astronomers, etc.. :P

i think that men have the capability to be smarter then women because they are put to a lot of tasks that women are usually not. when something needs fixing that means normally the man has to do it which would require him to have the knowledge to do so. now im not saying that women dont have the capability to fix things or solve problem, im just saying that since men are most likely the ones to go and fix somthing they would be smarter
