True love can be anywhere and two hearts can find each other whatever the distance is. Internet is another way of finding your love, but if you don't find your true love in internet way then that's not the way you need to take. In my situation, internet gave me the chance to find my true love and yet I found it. We just got married 3 years ago after a 2 years long distance relationship through internet. It doesn't matter which way, what matters is your feeling to each other.

I met my husband on the internet, so you saying its not true love acutally upsets me a little bit. Before I start though, we didn't meet on a dating site, and at the time I met him, he was in a relationship, and a happy one at that. We met on a social networking site, and started talking over a mutual love of the programme Top Gear, we would sit and chat throughout the programme having a good giggle over it. I saw him as a friend and nothing more for 2 years, it was only really when he and his girlfriend broke up and me and him met for the first time that we really realised the friendship was much much more than that, and that we meant a lot to one another. We have now been married two years, together almost 3 years and expecting our first baby in 3 weeks time. He is my best friend, I think we are so close because right from the minute I started talking to him, I was myself. There was no holding back on been myself trying to impress him or make him like me, because I wasn't bothered about that, and he was the same. It meant we told each other things we wouldnt have told each other if we had been romatically involved, and it means I know a lot about his past which I wouldnt have done should we have started off romantically speaking. I dont think you can really say where you can and cannto meet people. Everybody meets their spouse somewhere...whether its from school, college, university, work, on a night out, at a group, or online. Love can spring up in the weirdest of places! And it can either work out or not work out...it doesnt matter where you meet. I think the internet can be a bad place though as people can lie about themselves and lead "fantasy" lives where they say they're a 21 year old beauty fashion model when in fact they are 45 year old cat lovers living in their slippers...but if your both honest with each other, the relationship can and may flourish. Just as any relationship can :)

True love can be found anywhere. We never know where. It could be here, it could be there and it could be on the internet. Of course, one has to be really very careful with the internet as we have no idea who really is the person with whom we are dealing. Just be careful. I cannot emphasize that enough.
