rational use of antibiotics

when we suffer with fever doctor always advice to take antipyretic drug along with antibiotic is it rational, is it effective? what do u think?

when the doctor advises antibiotic it means the causative agent of the illness or disease is bacteria. the antipyretic is only for the management of the fever so that the patient would feel more comfortable.
