Do you wash the dishes

at night before going to bed or do you leave them on the sink for the next morning?
I am used to clean the sink at night before going to bed and pour hot water after. I make sure not leave any single dish unwashed to prevent pest from feasting on them.

hello there!
of course i always wash dishes and i don't like piling them up which causes lots of pest that can harm ourselves.
well,most people don't want to have pests in their houses but they just don't know how to manage to keep their houses or sinks clean before they get to bed at night.
for me,it became my habit to wash dishes and clean the sink before going to bed and i make sure that all lights are off and the doors are locked as well as the gas range is turned off to prevent such trouble during sleep.

great answer.. you're right, it's not only washing the dishes but also consider checking everything before going to bed. I guess it's a good habit to do it every night..

I also did that during my school years.. better finish it at night for you not to be late in class the next morning.

I wash the dishes right after supper. My mom said it's a good habit and you never know what may happen the next day. You might have some visitors and it would give me a bad image of myelf if they saw a pile of dishes to wash 
I don't like to do chores in a rush either. Avoiding insects is one of the reason I should wash the dishes right away. My grandma owns alot of plants and there are alot of ants looking for food during winter. The unclean dishes would be a feast for them.

yes, aside from roaches, ants have very powerful sense of smell and unwashed dishes piled on the sink can easily attract them to feast on it.

It depends what we've had for tea.. if it was a big meal and we had it fairly late, then I'll want to have a rest and go to bed. I don't really like it when I wake up in the morning and remember that I still have dishes to wash from the night before.
It's much better to stay on top of things though. Make sure that your family all share the work- that way, you won't feel like all you're doing is housework all of the time.

yes you're right, every household chore should be equally distributed to all members of the family to prevent misunderstanding and for each member to learn how to be responsible to make the house clean and tidy.

Its either me or my wife who washes the dishes. It depends on who is free and is not so tired after work. But one thing is sure, we do not leave the dishes in the sink overnight. That means after eating we, wash the dishes right away. I really feel uncomfortable leaving the dishes overnight in the sink. There could be pest and insects.

What a considerate husband you are, I really appreciate guys who do the dishes. I think it is not only women who should be doing this but also for men since they are more than capable in doing so. Keep up the good work and for sure your wife will love you more.

I guess washing your own dishes using gloves is not weird since it is the right thing to do. Some does not want to wash dishes that they did not use and I guess it's just fine but sometimes we need to consider some situations wherein one or the other cannot do the washing.

I usually wash as soon as I finished eating. I don't want to leave anything in the sink since its too messy to see. And I don't want pests feasting on them. But there are times that I cannot wash the dishes immediately so I'll just do it as soon as I can.

me too, I also washed them immediately but there are instances that I have no more extra strength to do the dishes so I end up washing them the next morning.

if things always wash before going to sleep, not to be dirty and have to do in the morning, I feel very bad taste to leave all messed up. So I was taught from childhood, and it is a habit that took me, and is an activity performed as always saw my mom every day.
This clearly not only what we wash dishes, that is all that is dirty and used for dinner from the kitchen to the table and the dining room.

oh really but I guess you should try washing them one day since it's not a difficult chore anyway.. Just charge it to experience as they say..

yeah sometimes it would also depend on our mood so if I feel like not in the mood to do extra chores after work, I prefer to eat outside or in a resto to escape from doing such things but not always..
