How do you know if a guy or a girl is flirting with you?

On the radio the other day this was the topic. How funny it is to hear that one of the ways girls flirt is when they talk in a loud voice. The boys, on the other hand, flirt by staring at a girl.
I am not particular about it, I guess. Maybe during high school, one of my ways is to be alone hoping that my crush will notice me. I even don't know if it's flirting. :-D
So, girls and boys, how do you know?

Well I have a gay friend and he always flirt with guys. Yeah, he talks so loud until the guy notice him. He also look at the guy and smile so sweetly with a wink. My freiend here is so funny. I can't help not to smile every time I remember him doing this. :-)

oh really..? girls flirt by talking in louder than the usual voice?.. hmm.. i can't remember if i did that.., but i noticed the guys when they flirt with me.., it's with the way they will look at me that i can tell.., and so far.., i was never wrong..=)

if person is always smiling and saying sweet words to you ahah^^ thats how people flirt boys and girls^^ about me i always care much for guys but i prefer they be sweet to me than me^^ is more romantic when is guys saying sweet than girls ahah anyway you say you hope your crush notice you? ahah like me and a chinese guy i thought he was so cute and he always pass in front of cafe where i used to work so i always see him and smile ahah^^

what do you mean 'how worst you are?' i dont get it. if you mean i suck at flirting, then it is okay with me, no problem. after all i am a married woman and i dont really need these things. just want to know how people do it.

Sometimes you just have to be aware of their body language because it's not only shown through talking. I haven't done any flirting because I find it embarrassing on my part since I'm a girl but when a guy does flirt it usually starts with a smile or, just as you've said, stare. We're like some animals, the female flirts by showing off her brightly colored plumage, whereas with us humans we talk louder or dress up to be noticed by the male species.

I don't know much about flirting lol but the signs I take as flirting is when a guy looks at you all the time and winks at you, or he puts his arm around you and has fun bugging you......Or when they say sweet nothings lol....That about all I know about flirting.
