Unless they start thinking with an open mind, then they might actually be given a damn about this. For now, i have no respect for the closeminded, i'll leave them be. But for the openminded ones, they have my respect.

People aren't going to stop coming to the Philippines because of that. It was one crazy man. Those things happen all over the world in every country. It happens all the time in America. Only ours are more extreme. And they're not going to get everyone Jolly Bee. The police should have handled it differently, and people will know that you can't really rely on the Philippine police. But it's not going to effect the tourism. People that say they won't come to the Phil because of that, don't like the Phil in the first place.

Nope. I'm just asking if people love to travel from our country despite of what happened and I'm not here to promote our country. I know that we are not perfect so we can do things wrong. But I respect your opinion. I have a brother in law which is Canadian and he love to travel and visit the Philippines despite what happened. I'm just asking the opinion that's all.

We just arrived from a Palawan trip, when the hostage drama was happening. We were not aware of it until we saw the news. The hostage drama may result to a short-term negative effect on the country's tourism industry, but I think it wouldn't be the case in the long run. In fact, my cousin's British husband, would still want to come back next year for a vacation. And they have plans of retiring here in the Philippines.
