whats up with this gopher cash?

I installed the goher cash on the fist without even really knowing what it was which was a big mistake. I have yet to visit the site again due to time constraints to find out what it's about. All I know is that now I have pop-up constantly and just now I got an alert when one of those stupid cash goher pop-ups came on, that my google chrome isn't working anymore. What the heck is up with this thing does anyone really know what it is. And how you make money frm it.

I heard a lot of commenst from different people that they say it will make your computer super slow and it will take control of your computer.Me personally i do not know for a fact coz i did not download yet the software in my laptop.
