You cannot say that in my case because my husband is living elsewhere for the time being. He will be back in about one or two months time. But now I go there almost every alternate weekend and he comes to our place every alternate weekend. So, today evening, am off to the place where he lives. Will be back in two days. We do find it difficult now, but some things are worth sacrificing for. He got promoted recently because of this and both of us are happy with the promotion as well as the hike in salary. Am just waiting for him to come back here though.

i have never approved of long distance relationships before. i feel that i am much more secured if i constantly have him beside me. but just recently, i got involved with one, and i want to work it out even though we are far apart. but the question remains: how can i keep it strong despite the distance?

i've had long-distance relationships in the past. i've realized that the 4 main ingredients to making it work are trust, love, communication, and loyalty. there are a lot of temptations that can break this kind of relationship, doubt is no. 1. but partners should always work to keep everything going well. it can be difficult sometimes and lacking one or more of these basic ingredients can really put a strain in your relationship. then, planning for the future is also important. if you are really serious about each other then this is crucial. otherwise, let each other go.

It is not easy to pursue a long distance relationship. There are many difficulties. At least finally one of them has to make the sacrifice and move and adjust to a new place for another. Otherwise this relationship will not work. And when they are in love, they can't often see each other. This kind of feeling is suffering. I love China

Hi, It is bit hard for me to accept long distance relationship. and I am not sure whether I can handle it well. So far, I never have it before and really don't know how will it feel like. The most important in relationship to stay forever is a TRUST. If there is a trust and be honest to each other, then it should not be a big problem to carry on the relationship. Also need to have frequent communication for long distance relationship to stay on.Or else, with the lack of communication, I guess both parties may not have better understanding on each other and the feeling may just gone by itself.

Yes, as long as the communication is always open and when your love has already been tested by time. It is indeed very very stressful, but i can never do anything, I love the man and he is only thinking of our future so I can't do anything about it.

It also doesnt matter. Its up for the couple on how they are going to make their relationship work. I mean its okay to be in a long distance relationship. And I think there has been many topics about this already here in mylot and people shared so many experiences about this.
