have you tried kyaraben?

kyaraben - Bento is a japanese term much like packed lunch in english or "baon" in tagalog. For the young ones, opening a bento is a feast not only for the stomach but also for the eyes. Mothers normally put much effort on preparing these bento to make it not only as a nutritious meal but also a work of art!

I came across these cute packed lunch for Japanese kids and I thought, wow, their moms might have really exerted effort to prepare such works of arts before their little ones go to school. It' really inspiring and a real feast for the eyes...

I have been having a good search about kyaraben and they are completely fascinastic, I can't imagine the work that must go into them!! I have a put a picture of a couprl more designs they do all seem tobe very much rice/sushi based. Although I saw one that was made completely out of fruit and made to look like sushi.
