it`s sad when we hear police again conflict with a mass(people). why it is happened again? what do you think about this tragedy? whats the solution?

In my opinion, it has something to do with Police who do not want to reform themselves. They still think that they are still part of military and thus, have more power than civilians. I think they need to change their mindset and paradigm that they are no longer part of military and their job is to protect and to serve, just as their slogan.

so the solution is must reform police. right? so from up to bottom or bottom to up reformation? do you think that change of head of indonesia police (Kapolri) in next oktober can change and accelerate an indonesia police??

Sure, reform in Polri is a must, especially those in high rank position. I think public don't trust high rank officers in Polri anymore. They are dirty and corrupt. I don't think the successor of Gen. BHD will change Polri a lot. His successor will be a person who can maintain status quo in Polri. I suggest that we not expect too much from his successor.
