Guys, let us discuss the difference between religion and Christianity. For me, religion is just man-made while Christianity is the one who really follows Christ's footsteps

Christianity is just as man-made as any other religion. Your myths about Jesus were taken from previous religions and the ideas of men. You do realize that there is no historical proof that Jesus ever existed, right? On the contrary, there is proof that he did not exist (for example, no secular texts or historical or Jewish writers who were alive when Jesus is claimed to be ever mentioned him.) Have you ever even looked into other religions? There are thousands of them. There are also plenty of sects in Christianity that teach different things. How can you be so certain you chose the correct one, especially when you're blind to almost all of them but the one you were around most while you grew up?

Mymill, I have done my research. I was raised Catholic and it took a lot of evidence to change my mind. Please explain to me the proof you think you have found that Jesus existed. I will gladly refute it.

Firstly, please don't get me wrong, I am not A Christian. I was brought up Protestant up until about five years ago when I was raised as a Freemason. I enjoy studying into religion and personally don't distinguish between them. As you might know we accept all religions into the brotherhood. My statement is based on Freemasonry doctrine as well as research done by two authors by the names of Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas, amongst a vast number of other sources. I will give you four book titles which you may just find imensely informing as these guys literally researched thousands of books and archive material to write these books. 1 - The Hiram Key 2 - Uriels Machine 3 - The Second Messiah 4 - The Book of Hiram I responded to your post not to prove you wrong, simply to get the point across that you are doing exactly the same as all the Christian sects you were mentioning. Not one of us can for a fact say our choice of religion is the right one, and not one of us has the right to criticize anothers choice.

Religion is man made and Christianity or Christians are followers of Christ by heart and action of good deeds.

I agree with you olepmis... Lot of religious people coming to church pretending to be holy but in their homes, you will hear them speaking bad words

I think of religion as giving lip service to a particular belief. I think of Christianity as a faith that what the word of God says is the truth and so we live out that faith by being obedient to God's word.

The difference in Christianity and religion is that to be a Christian you simply have to believe in Jesus the Christ, and follow his teaching which is simple. Love. That's all you need to do. With religion you need to follow lots of rules and rituals. Things that really go against what Christianity is all about. That's why I say people are Christians. "Churches" are not.

Religion is a concept of faith/belief in a Higher Bieng or Diety. Christianity is a religion. The difference is : 1- Religion : Collective word for all systems of belief (grouping). 2- Christianity : Believers in the teachings of Jesus Christ who accepted Him as the Son of God. To answer your question - There is vast difference between the two.
