Problem with Hi-speed USB extension

Hello there. I hope somebody can help me with this. I was trying to use my hi-speed UBS extension to maximize my browsing. This extension is supposed to help get internet connection signal so I can surf faster. I am using SUN broadband, by the way. The problem is when I installed the USB extension, the dialog box says, the device is not connected or is unavailable but it shows a blue light which means there is a signal for a connection. The extension is not defective because it was working when I tried it on the seller's computer. It works pretty fine. I know my ports are also working properly because I was using a normal USB extension but the only problem is that sometimes the connection gets cut because of a poor signal, so I tried resolving it with the high-speed USB extension. But the problem with this extension is even worse. I still want to use it if only I can detect where the problem is. If you have any idea what to do, please leave a comment. Thanks!

I think it may have happened if the modem software has not been closed properly (I assume you are using usb modem as broadband). Try reinstalling the modem software. It will work fine.

i think there can be many reason. i think you have not configured the settings properly after installing the software at your pc. and if you have done this check out for the signals. and even you can change the usb , may be usb you are using are of lower speed. which is not supported by device.
