Remember your very first cellphone? it must be a gift by your loved ones or something that you really exerted an effort just to save money (cutting expenses, no cinema, no extra meal etc) only to afford it. My first phone was Erickson GA 628 Model, I was college by then when it was given to me by my niece as a birthday present. I was so happy and so proud and told myself this is the best phone and I will never replace it with any other! Well it only last 3 months before I switched to Nokia famous 3310 :D I'm still using my this classic baby as my "paperweight to my documents"

Hi abhinav7175, we have something in common since I still use the same cellphone number until now. The trouble with me is that I'm not good in memorizing digits (yup! even my own cellphone number) that is why I choose to keep my old number. Thanks for the response.

Hi ermi46, I remember the old days, I used to think that my Nokia 3310 was "unbeatable" by other phone. I was so damn proud of that phone. Thanks for the response.

Hi o0jopak0o, it's nice to reminisce those days with our old bulky phone were most of us really learned from, before the era of modern gadgets were almost everything is touchscreen. Thanks for the response.

I had an Erickson too, back in the early days when coverage wasn't always so good. It looked a bit like a house brick lol - my husband used to tease me about needing to have the phone switched on in case of emergency and I remember telling him not to worry cos whereas I may not be able to make a call if I was in a poor reception area, if anyone attacked me I could always hit them with it and make good my escape :)

Hi debsgw, nice response you just made me laugh at "my husband used to tease me about needing to have the phone switched on in case of emergency" Yup! those bulky old phones are really a good self defense gadget that we can use :D Thanks for the response.

Hi nikhilgupta14, you're lucky to have a phone as early as 6th grade. I have my first phone during my College days. Nokia 2600 is also a good phone, quite trendy if you ask me. Thanks for the response.
