A lot of people find it comforting to talk in front of people who they simply don’t know. Some people find a difficult audience to be someone who they know because when the audience judge’s it is more hurtful when it comes from someone you know. For those who speak in front of others that they are not familiar with they give a better speaker. It is the notion that you don’t know these people and you could care less of what they think of you that motivates you to develop and deliver a good speech. You should find it a blessing to speak to someone who you have never met or know well. How do you Speak To Someone You Don’t Know ?

i agree with you. . its important also to meet new faces so that you would also know what is your impact to other people and what is their first impression on you.

Actually for me, i have problems communicating with those new faces that i simply don't know. I am not sure whether i find myself lacking similar interest or just because i am not used to getting along with strangers. However, i do think that it is important to develop the skills to be polite and talk to anyone. I hope to be someone like this but currently i am still who i am. Hopefully in near future i can be a better me :p

I guess, when we talk to an unknown person, we talk to him for a reason. In this case, as I feel, we should formally introduce him or her about us in short. And directly to the point. Our purpose will be fulfilled. I mean, we will atleast come to know immediately, whether, the person would be useful for our purpose. Starting with an introduction of ourselves is a good idea I feel. Whats your opinion about this.
