I was going through my closet the other day, cleaning out the clutter and behind a bunch of books found my two furby's. They are the little talking aniamls that were so popular years ago. They sort of remeinded me of Gizmo, who I still think is adorable. I remember they were one of the hardest toys to find when they first came out. The first one I got my manager had left to go to the bank one morning. She had mentioned earlier that k mart had some coming in. All I'd talked about for weeks was how much I wanted one. She got back from the bank and called me into the office. There sitting on the desk was my furby!!!!!! I now have them sitting on my computer desk, just waiting for me to buy batteries to see if they still work. I'm a big kid at heart. Do you still have your furbys? And do they still work?

My wife had one. She never actually took it out of the box though. She bought it for my daughter who was a baby at the time and then we moved and she put it up in the closet and kind of forgot about it. We ended up selling it new in the box for aobut $2.00 at a garage sale. But it did still work just fine. The original batteries still worked. My kids had a bunch of those little McDonalds Furby toys. They loved those little things.

So you never got it out and played with him? How old is your daughter now?

My grandmother went on a furby buying frenzy and I think she still has a lot of the ones she got. She had a whole drawer full. They are cute little things and so I might ask if my husband and I could have one or two of them. They look like little owls and talk and move their eyes, I believe some of them actually moved right?
