My boss was terminated because I filed my resignation. Although she's one of the reason of my resignation, still I did not ask anyone to terminate her. Her manager asked me if I can still stay for few more months - but I already have decided to resign! I do not know if I will be guilty or not. I did not ask for her termination but its like its because of me that she was terminated. Now I do not know how to react!

I think it's called HR review or something like that departmental boss and supervisor achievement are reviewed by HR, finance and productivity level etc I don't know how it is done, but HR rating can be bad if this boss or supervisor gets bad review from their own staffs or from everyone else the more people complain about them, especially if they quit, the worse the review I'll have to say that office politics are just fun to watch LOL if it is her own doing, well why should that bother you? if you have something to do with it, though, then it will all come back to you

Oh that's weird. You must be an asset to the company for the big boss to choose you over your manager, despite you showing your interest to resign. I'm thinking your manager must have violated multiple policies that triggered his terminationn.

Since you have no control over the factors that caused the incident, you need not feel guilty for it.In an organizational set up,some talented and extraordinary employees,no matter at which level they work, are informally marked by top level managers through different channels of information, and they keep an eye over the work situation. In this recessionary period, employers do not wish to lose talented and worthy employees; at the same time they seek to find the ways and means to re-organize and to rightsize the workforce. Her manager might be viewing her position to be redundant and to manage with you.

Those are one of the things you just can't predict. You can only make decisions based on what you know, not by what you think might happen. It is not your fault, if you've given us all the details.. just one of those things that happen...
