On resignation: Why did you resign from your last work?

Hi everyone.. just another sharing for us....
Share with us why / or the reason why you resigned from your previous work? There is of course no need to let us know the name of the company.. but just a hint of why and what made you choose to look for another work?
As for me, i have just resigned from my work... my main reason was that the offer i got now from the new company is better - and i already knew the people around the new company... and well, there are also some issues with my current work that i feel there are less opportunities for me and it won't seem to improve any time sooner...

I had to quit working a "real job" to take care of my son who was hurt in a car accident. It's been almost two years now and he is still improving real slow! It's been interesting but I am learning how to use the internet to make money. I'm not getting rich by any means, but I can eat beans and rice!

I resigned from my previous job because it was not the type I was trained for and not exactly the type I want my career on the long term. The company was a very good company, excellent management. I explained to the management the reason I wanted to resign, and they understood and appreciated the reasons. The new job I now have is a perfect match with my professional background.

my husband just resigned from his job since he needs to take care of our son. i am tired of hiring house helps and now i am thankful that at last he had his final say. i am earning more than him and it's not an issue having him at home with my son. he planned of putting up a small business where he can manage his own time and can still take care of our son.

the reason i left my s.hitty retail stockroom job was
1-the distance
2-the people (people in retail are the most immature, two-faced, bpd idiots ive ever meet.
3-the pay: wasnt high enough to reflect the above fact.

THe main reason I resigned from your last work is because I was
going to settle down in another country with my husband.
He decided to go back to his hometown and at last, I make the final
decision to resign from my work.
Actually, I love this job, a good pay job,but pretty stressful.
Now, I do feel regret why I resign from my job.
With my current status as housewife, I feel something is missing as I
don't have fixed income every month.
Of course, I do enjoy my motherhood and spending time with my precious
son.
Maybe one day I will go back to work again.

My last job, i was working for a call centre. I worked for one and a half year and at the same time i pursued my masters in sales & marketing (MBA) and then i moved into marketing again.
