Hi there mylotters! I know about "Your Baby Can Read" and I think it's very good, but I don't have a software of it. I would like to teach my little girl some reading skills but don't know what or which website to visit.. So please suggest to me websites that would fit my need.. I would really appreciate it from you dear myLotters! Thanks in advance!

Hello genevy04, I like Leap Frog products for early childhood learning. They have a reading console, and hand held computer games for letters, reading and math. You can find at Toy r us, and online. Also, there are books that the students can read and draw in. Reading to her will help her to recognize words and sound of words.

Hi there Iequate.. Leap frog? so is the website for free use or not? I'll try to look for those products when I had the time because I really want to enhance my daughter's abilities and skills.. I used to make her some flash cards with words and pictures on them, it's just that I stopped showing them to her since she became busy in her kindergarten.. but I think I have to teach her those again when we have the time.. Thanks for your response..

Hi, Leap Frog is a computer product that is sold in stores. The reading program is excellent. Leap Frog also has hand held computer type games for reading, math, and spelling. You can buy at Toys R Us, and at similar stores. The prices are worth the head start your child will receive from learning. :)

Yah, me 2. I feel as if she really has gotten of track at her age of 11 she is reading at a 3.5 level. I just keep reading with her and outloud. Also if you read then let her read. It really helps.

Yeah I am willing to do so for her but my kid is just 4 years old.. She is able to read some Tagalog words but the English ones, she knows the word by it's pictures.. I know I shouldn't force her to read this early but I know even babies can be taught on how to read when they are let to watch the Your baby can Read CD's.. And a friend's kid was already reading in as early as the age of 3.. My daughter is intelligent I know, I just missed giving her these strategies I think that's why I feel she should have learned advantageously but she didn't, and now she learns in the average level..
