Why is it no matter how much you work and how much you earn its never enough to live these days?

The damb coast of livign will never stop rising, in my city in 6-8 months all the city property went up 52%. I feel ur pain.

It doesn't have to be like that. You can do two things: 1) Increase income and/or 2) Decrease outgoings

Well sorry it took me so long, but as long as its just you and the world you can do it that way but add family and home and your always living for that next pay check. Unless of coarse you were born with it or fall into it. Money is the root of everything and that my friend sucks.

I know exactly what you mean .... my parents were able to raise 4 children in hawaii .... and still had enough money saved to give each one of us to put a down payment on our first home.. how is that?? AND, My husband and I make more money than they did.

Exactly and no matter how much you increase your income your prices keep going up. Where I live people have just stop buying homes because the prices are way more than the average american can afford.
