What would you do when your boss usully get angry reasonlessly.

My boss don't stay at office frequently. He sometimes drop in on. But He always scold his staffs even they don't do any wrong something. He often scold first, then he will listen to explain. How would I do with him? If you're me, what would you do?

Employees should know and analyse their boss character very well. I think your boss want to make bossy mood and want to show he is your boss by his words so that employees sacre of their boss. There are people who wants to show their status or position by their behavior and your boss is one of them. I understand, his words might hurt you as you did no mistake yet he is scolding but a clever employees will accept his words and honor his words and digest! To impress boss we need to do many things & hearing unwanted words is one of them. If the words too hurt you and you think the words dont worth of your remuneration, then left the job. Its my point of view. Take your own decession by own ....which one is worth more ....digesting scolding from boss & to impress him to get promotion ...OR take action against this unbearable situation.....the decession ai all yours my friend tkonlinevn!

Yes, he could be right if he do that on several years before. But Nowadays, it's unsuitable. Workers and Staffs are not only labor but also partners. We must respect together to develop. Do you think so?

I usually just keep my mouth shut. Many times I was tempted to answer back because sometimes his accusations are overboard. But then I realized that my retorts will only be futile because there are people who will always be convinced that they are right.

In my line of work, this kind of situation is very common, i usaully tell myself that my boos is under business and work pressure and does not mean what he is saying. I sometimes laugh when he is scolding me and that takes the edge of things too and he realises he has doen a little too much.
It is also good to never put up an argument. Never try to explain, just listen and go about doing your work as if nothing as happened. Things get into your stride and your boss and you get to know each other well.

You're right when you say that almost bosses are under business and working pressures. But what would you do if he scold even he's wrong and he say that because you? and his status occurs for a long time?

hello,tkonlineven.My boss often come the office at ten everyday.To my happy,he hardly scold us.When he scold me,i say nothing and often laugh.At that moment I also think that he is busy ,on the side i am too careless to make the things wrong.So i should be blamed.HaHa,i am a good staff.
