how much really a ptc earner can earn monthly?

i'm new to this ptc world. i started earning in this area 4 months ago by joining in some sites. day by day i'm increasing the number of my earning sites and working by seeing the ads in them. some paid me, some became scams, some said that i'll get paid soon and i have to wait till that moment. throughout this 4 months i got just $7 into my paypal account. i consider it as very little when compared to any other job. how are the other in this field earning? same like me? can anyone who are unlike me, suggest me some good ways to increase my ptc earnings? or can anyone suggest me some other good ways of earning online?
