Is university education the most important factor of success in life?

Do you agree that university education is the most important factor of success in life? Generally, I agree with this idea. But what I want to know is all of yours opinions. So, whichever you agree with, I hope that you can state your evidence, like examples of yours or others, as fully as possible, so that I can accept, or at least understand, your ideas. Thanks!

I think that university education definitely helps. It certainly helps to have some success later in life. I don't think that it's the only factor. And I'm not sure if it's the most important or not, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have a university education for some success.

Acquiring a degree from a prestigious university is not the only factor to become successful in life. There are a lot of things that need to be consider.I think its a case to case basis. In my family, having a degree is a must. Education is very important for us not only a way to become successful but also we considered it as treasure that cannot be taken away by other people.

Not always - I agree that a education will certainly help but, there are many people who do not go to college or university and still manage to do well in life! I think sometimes it can be dependant on how you are and if you have the right frame of mind to put yourself into whatever you do and work at it!

I don't know about success but it definately helps to find a job that pays well. Look at that guy that made facebook, he dropped out of university or was he excluded? Don't remember but he was very successful.

University education is a factor but not the most important because there are so many graduates from reputable schools, some are even with honors but really didn't make it in their careers. On the other hand, there are many who are undergraduates but are now big names in their chosen careers. I think the most important ingredient of success is determination... that in your every goal, you must have a direction.
