class reunion

We just had our 40th class reunion on Saturday! I cannot believe that it has been that many years. It was good to see some of my former classmates as that is the only time I see many of them. We have a reunion every 5 years and I have not missed one. I feel pretty good about that. It seems as the years go by that many of us get along better, but you can still see the little groups that used to hang around together still having a tendency to be in a group. I try to speak to as many as I can and not hang out with just one group of people. Do you go to your class reunions and if you do, do you try to socialize with all or does your group still hang together as they did in high school?

Glad to see that you widen the circle. I haven't gone to one reunion as I am not aware of any being held. I also graduated from High School about 40 years ago. I did try to do a classmate search on the net but did not find one and yet I still live in the same city. So I have no idea what happened!

Thats too bad. It is fun to see people that you've gone to school with over the years. Like I told someone else, maybe you should "take the bull by the horn" and actually plan a reunion. I'm sure if you contacted the school that you attended, that they might be able to help you get some addresses. Go for it! Best wishes!

Hi, Since my last graduation from high school in year 1999,we never have class reunion again.All the while,just a small gathering with some close mates when I am back to my hometown. I do hope there will be a class reunion some days,as I do miss all my old mates. SOme of them, I have not been meeting since year 1999...so you can imagine how long I have not been seeing them Most of my old mates are married with kids and everyone is super busy with their own life.

Maybe you should take the initiative and plan an actual reunion. You could contact several of your classmates and set a date. People are always busy, but if they have an actual date to plan ahead they will usually make time to get together. Best wishes!

That is wonderful ! Yes, I go to our class reunions too, as often as I can. That is the best opportunity to meet and keep in touch with the classmates. And, I certainly socialize with all and as many as I could reach to. That makes everyone happy too. It is so wonderful to meet with classmates after such long periods, though we do try to keep in touch by emails and telephones once in a while.

Good for you that you attend your reunions! Many people don't like to attend such functions. I do keep in touch with a few through e-mails and phone calls as well. Thanks for your response! Best wishes!

I never have been to a class reunion, I graduated in 1986 but most of my friends are on Facebook so I get to see them when I log on to find out what's going on with my alumi friends. I think that high school is the setting for a lot of our relationships that will endure into the future.

It seems my relationships with former classmates have gotten better over the years. I know a lot of people keep up with others through Facebook, but I think actually having a conversation with them in person is better. Hope you have a good week. Best wishes!
