myLot e-mail notifications

I've been receiving an e-mail notification every time one of my friends starts a new discussion. This is quite annoying because I'm not interested in getting any notifications. I get enough e-mail as it is, and this is just more to wade through. If I want to know what new discussions my friends start, I'll login in myLot. All of my notification settings in my preferences are off (none of the boxes are checked) so I don't know why I'm receiving these e-mails. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem, or if anyone knows how to fix it?

Yes, I also find this kind of notification emails are bothering. When I login Mylot, usually I will check the discussions started by my friends. So it is no need to send the notifications to tell us. When I see them in my email box, I will just delete them. I love China

Hi Verval I used to get a lot of those too so what I did was to just go to the friends section of MYLOT and just uncheck all the friends on my list I think I missed one though because I keep getting this one notification still. But I'll just go back in and see if I can find and and uncheck it but your right I don't see the need to know when someone on my friends list starts a topic
