losing weight

How do you all lose weight? I am struggling with it right now. I'm going to do a liquid detox with 100% vegetable juice. It won't be for a long time, just enough to jump start my diet. How do you all lose weight and what advice can you give me?

I'm not "trying" to loose weight. I'm just generally eating better and at the least take a walk every day and not sit at my computer all the time.

I drink a lot of water. I drink well over 8 glasses of water a day (and they are large glasses). Once I started to drink water, I guess I just enjoy it so much I know I drink plenty of it. I also starting eating more vegtables. I used to love the drowning in butter, but now I just eat them plain. I also eat a lot of fruit as well. Detox isn't bad if you are careful with what you take. If you are doing the 100% vegetable juice that would be okay. I think a lot of people try to detox by taken huge amounts of laxatives and that is not good. I would double check with your doctor first.
