indonesia still needs four thousand dentist / myLot

for dentist, it`s good news. Ministry of Health said that Government still needs 4 thousand dentist..wow... in notes of Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih (ministry of Health), untill August 2010, indonesia only have 21961 dentist. for ideal works, every 100 thousand patient should be served by 1 dentist but indonesia only have 8 dentist for a patient with a same number. And off course this records is not ideals. Ministry of Health predicted that the requirement of dentist is still 4064 dentist and untill next 3 years, the requirement is complete. And the other problems is many dentist is only work in jawa and sumatera island

talking about the dentist profession, means that we talk money. In Indonesia, for dental school is very expensive and can only be achieved by the students of wealthy families. No wonder the spread of dental profession is not uniform, and centrally there are only major cities

study in dentist faculty is related with much money..ya, it`s too bad, untill now, only a rich man can study in dentist faculty.. but i hear that government want to give a scholarship for people which want to study in dentist faculty

It is amazing. But, I ca understand that. Indonesia is a very big country with so many islands, and inhabitants spread out. So, there will be the need for medical facilities , including doctors, dentists, radiologists, and so on, all over the areas.

hai greenline...i aprreciate your comments..ya, indonesia is the country which have many island..thousand hundred island..and off course it make our government sometimes difficult to arrange..it`s challenge..and we like challenge..ya, we need so much medical person like doctors, nurse, radiologist and so on...especially in eastern part of indonesia

Really Indonesia needs four thousands of dentist.. are their crises of dentist.. I think now their will be a great chance for dentist to grow up their carrier in medical field.. In our country India their is no crisis of dentist.. and every year many thousands dentists started their carrier..
