have you ever watched a non Hollywood movies ? don't get me wrong i like Hollywood movies transformer, iron man, harry potter, etc but sometimes i like to watch non Hollywood movies where you don't know the cast and there is no hype surrounding the movies, well one such film is the fall a friend of mine suggested this movie and it was a very good suggestion indeed, here is how describe the movie Directed by Tarsem Singh, set on the outskirt of LA in the 1920s. a stuntman(Roy Walker) just got dumped by his girlfriend injured him self on one of his stunt and was taken in to a hospital where he meet a little girl (alexandria) then they became somewhat of a friend. Roy told alexandria a story which in my opinion is a reflection of roy state of mind at that time, he tell this story at first was just get alexandria to get him a bottle of morfin so he can kill him self, but as the story goes well just watch it it's a great story, a great film with a great visual of landscape, a great set of unknown cast and a great story line, definitely a movie worth to watched

Try Korean movies. They tend to be very funny and touching at the same time. They also use very good actors. For example: Crazy first love, My Sassy girl, My boss my hero. You might also like a Korean TV show My lovely Kim Sam Soon. It is hilarious.Of course they use English subtitles. And no. I am not Korean but I really enjoy Korean movies.

I think what you are referring to are 'independent' films rather than hollywood films. The independents have low budgets and oten use new actors, however, some independent films will attract stars who are willing to work for reduced pay because they like story or the role they get to play.
