what new vampire books can you recommend to read? it may be a one part book or it may be a series book. if you have any links that you can also provide other viewers can read, esp e-book links, then you may do so. i hope i can get better responses for this discussion. :)

I've read some of her books too..The Carpathian people. I kind of like it but I think it's too long and some parts are a bit boring But I love how she explains the story and about the characters..

I've been reading vampire books these days,too.Vampire Diaries by L.J.Smith and Southern Vampire by Charlaine Harris.I don't know if you have access to VeryCD back in Philippines,but maybe you can try this site: www.verycd.com. Just type in vampire or vampire book,you may find more books concerning vampires. Good luck and have a nice day!

I love the series made by Sherrilyn Kenyon..It's called Dark Hunters- There are also Were-Huners, Dream-Hunters and lots more..you can check out her website here: http://www.sherrilynkenyon.com/series.php?id=7 I've only read 4 of her book and it was great. Each character had a unique but tragic history but everything ends well. The Dark Hunter are really like vampires- but they were made by Artemis. I just started a discussion on vampire fiction and just saw yours after mine was posted ;-p My favorite is still the classic Dracula by Bram Stoker. If you haven't read it yet, I think you can download a copy for free at Project Gutenberg - www.gutenberg.org. If you want more recent books, grab a copy of Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire Mysteries. It's quite addicting. Go to this site - www.lovevampires.com - it's a good resource for vamp reading and has an entire list of vamp books with reviews too. I think there's links there too. Happy reading!

Interview with an Vampire By Anne Rice and the other books that Anne Rice wrote on vampires. What I liked about Anne Rice was that her vampires were actually killers and ruthless unlike the teddybear vamps of today as I call them :D Sorry but i just liked vamps better when they were making a snack out of Britney not kissing her and reading her a bedtime story ."
