Why was there so much rain this year?

We actually have had a very dry summer here in Ohio. Our grass is all brown and not growing and lakes and rivers are well below their normal levels. Hopefully the fall rains and the spring snow melt will bring us back up to our normal levels. I guess both too much and not enough both pose their own sets of problems.

Summer was over, thus we're having our rainy days. I like more the rainy days than the heat of the summer that passed as more people got sick of the intense heat. I just hope no big storms and floods would visit us. Just pouring of rains that makes cooler climate.
