Hi guys! I've always wanted to go to these 2 places. But I have been checking on how to visit these 2 in just one go. I want to go to Mindoro first then Palawan. There are no flights from Mindoro to Palawan but I heard that there are boat rides on that route. I cannot confirm it though in any tourist site. For the residents of these places, is really a safe boat ride from Mindoro to Palawan and vice versa? About how much in Philippine peso and what are good places to visit in these two?

If you will go first to San jose mindoro you can have several options going there. You can take a plane ride from Manila or you can take a bus ride from manila. Fares are almost the same if you will book your flight early. You can get ticket as low as 1,200 pesos. But if you like traveling by bus it will cost you the same around 1,000 pesos. Bus ride will take you around ten to 12 hours in total including 2 to 3 hours by RORO. If you are planning to go to palawan straight from San jose mindoro. I believe it is not possible. There is no Nautical route joining this two islands. The only solution is to go back to manila and take a Super ferry going to palawan if you insist on taking a boat ride. Plane ride would be more convenient since travel to palawan via ferry would take around a 24 hrs. If time is of the essence for your trip then flying is the more plausible solution.

I see.. Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it. Yes that is what I really want to go straight to Palawan from San Jose, Mindoro. But now I can see that it is really not possible. I've always wanted to go to both of these places, that's why I just want to travel straight.

Your welcome. I also do want to travel that route directly however it is not really possible I have already exhausted all the airlines and shipping companies. But sad to say there is none as of the moment. You will still need to travel back to manila for the safest trip. San jose mindoro is a beautiful place. Palawan is pretty amazing I love the aura of that province. Have a safe trip.

Riding with just a boat from mindoro to palawan?.. I think its not possible, only fishermen can do that, and besides its very risky if it is possible. If there are no flights from mindoro to palawan, then try to find a place that has flights in Mindoro and Palawan. for example, Mindoro to Cebu then Cebu to Palawan. It is a lot more comfortable.

I understand your point. But I heard there was ro-ro boat? ride from Mindoro to Palawan. By the way, id like to go to San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. Just to make it clear for everyone. I understand it's really not possible if you're coming from Oriental Mindoro. :D Thanks grenz! I'll think of your suggestions if there are really no other choice. :)

Why not contact the SuperFerry customer service and ask for a workaround?
